What you will do
- Collaborate with directors and creative team to define visual style, tone, and mood
- Develop shot lists, camera plans, and lighting approaches in pre-production
- Select and oversee camera equipment, lenses, and lighting setups
- Lead camera and lighting teams on set, handling framing, composition, movement, and exposure
- Ensure visual continuity and technical quality across footage
- Problem-solve on set, adapt to changes, and stay within budget and schedule
- Partner with post-production for visual consistency
Requirements
- Proven experience as Director of Photography or Cinematographer in digital productions
- Strong knowledge of camera systems, lenses, and lighting techniques
- Ability to translate creative direction into visual storytelling
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong problem-solving in fast-paced environments
- Available to work onsite in Los Angeles or New York City
