What you will do

• Audit tenant certifications to ensure applicants and households meet project, program, and income eligibility requirements.
• Complete certification processing and review files within a strict 24-hour window.
• Support clients in achieving regulatory and financial compliance by ensuring submitted files are fully eligible.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in affordable housing regulations and program requirements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in affordable housing compliance and/or affordable property management.
• Direct experience with Section 8, LIHTC, HOME, and RD programs.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be based in the US.
• Ability to travel up to 10%, including required travel during the second week of employment for training.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in business, housing studies, regulatory affairs, or a similar field.
• Industry certifications such as COS, CPO, BOS, or SHCM®.
• Knowledge of hirify.global or other property management software programs.
