What you will do

• Audit tenant certifications to verify project, program, and income eligibility requirements.
• Process certifications and review files within a strict 24-hour window.
• Support clients in achieving regulatory and financial compliance.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of affordable housing regulations and program requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of experience in affordable housing compliance or affordable property management.
• Experience with Section 8, LIHTC, HOME, and RD programs.
• Ability to travel up to 10%, specifically during the second week of employment for training.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in business, housing studies, regulatory affairs, or a related field.
• Industry certifications such as COS, CPO, BOS, or SHCM.
• Knowledge of hirify.global or other property management software.
