Head of Operational Excellence

TL;DR

Head of Operational Excellence: Architect and scale efficiency of Delivery through organizational design and transformation strategy with an accent on process improvements, automation tools, and performance governance. Focus on defining development processes roadmap, identifying bottlenecks, establishing KPIs and dashboards, leading change initiatives, and partnering with C-suite.

Location: Office-based in Valencia, Spain. Relocation support provided if needed.

What you will do

• Define and lead the development processes roadmap aligned with business goals and scalability.
• Identify bottlenecks in RND and Delivery; design and implement high-impact processes and automation.
• Establish the company "Operating System" including KPIs, monitoring dashboards, and reporting.
• Act as change agent, foster high-performance culture, and mentor OpEx specialists.
• Partner with C-suite and department heads for organizational design and cross-functional synergy.

Requirements

• Advanced English for stakeholder management.
• Proven track record in Senior Executive roles in OpEx, Transformation, or Program Management (ideally Tech/Software).
• Deep knowledge of business processes, requirement gathering, and automation-led efficiency.
• "Tough-but-fair" result-oriented leadership, comfortable with ambiguity.
• Jira/Atlassian mastery: design complex workflows, roadmaps, and automation for operational transparency.
