Vice President Software Engineering (AI/ML)

What you will do

• Drive end-to-end Machine Learning projects characterized by high scale and complexity.
• Build ML infrastructure, focusing on feature engineering and scaling models for big data.
• Develop, productionize, and maintain machine learning models.
• Run ML experiments by tuning features and modeling approaches, documenting results.
• Collaborate with ML researchers to accelerate the integration of cutting-edge models.
• Perform code reviews to ensure high software quality and standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience building scalable machine learning systems.
• Expertise in Python and PySpark.
• Experience with distributed technologies such as Scala, Iceberg, HDFS, AWS, or GCP.
• Proficiency with ML/DL toolkits including TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn, and HuggingFace.
• Strong Computer Science fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, and system design.

Nice to have

• Prior experience with LLMs and Prompt Engineering.
• Experience architecting and deploying ML applications on AWS/GCP.
• Experience in architecture design for distributed systems.
