What you will do
- Lead IT compliance initiatives and serve as the primary interface between audit groups and the Information Technology Department.
- Analyze and interpret audit requests and reports to provide expert advice on formal responses and remediation.
- Develop and execute compliance reviews to evaluate the effectiveness of general controls and operating processes.
- Maintain IT risks, controls, policies, and standards within the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) system.
- Collaborate with IT personnel to develop and implement process improvements using Six Sigma methodologies.
- Negotiate acceptable timeframes to comply with audit findings with auditors and IT management.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in audit or technology compliance.
- Advanced knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and operations.
- Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO, NIST, and FFIEC.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and data mining purposes.
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
