What you will do

• Develop and execute the strategic vision for Ocean Freight Operations across Germany to align with company goals.
• Lead ocean freight departments, managing operational budgets, financial planning, and profit ratios.
• Oversee operational performance and establish, track, and review KPIs across all locations.
• Maintain long-term relationships with key customers and collaborate with sales to drive portfolio growth.
• Lead initiatives to streamline and optimize process flows for cost reduction and productivity enhancement.
• Mentor senior management and implement development plans to maintain leadership pipelines.

Requirements

• Proven experience in strategic and operational leadership within the ocean freight or logistics sector.
• Strong expertise in financial planning and managing operational budgets.
• Experience in establishing and monitoring KPIs to ensure high-performance service delivery.
• Track record of managing stakeholder and customer relationships at a senior level.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Hamburg office.
