TL;DR
Senior Fullstack Engineer (Node.js/React): Building and optimizing backend services and APIs for user activation, referrals, and reactivation flows with an accent on Server-Driven UI (SDUI) and BFF architecture. Focus on reducing onboarding friction, implementing scalable microservices, and improving user retention metrics.
Location: Remote (Must be based in Latam)

What you will do
- Develop and maintain scalable backend services and APIs for activation, referral, and reactivation experiences across mobile and web.
- Build and iterate on user-facing experiences using Server-Driven UI (SDUI) and BFF architecture.
- Optimize database queries, caching strategies, and API performance to support high-traffic flows.
- Improve monitoring, observability, and logging to ensure system reliability and fast issue detection.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Mobile/Web engineers to deliver high-quality end-to-end features.
- Participate in architectural decisions and contribute to shared engineering standards and best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Engineer.
- Strong production experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and React.
- Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL) and query optimization.
- Solid understanding of service-oriented architectures and microservices.
- Advanced English communication skills.
- Fluency with AI engineering tools.
Nice to have
- Experience with Kotlin or other JVM-based languages (Java, Scala).
- Proficiency with AI coding tools such as Cursor or Windsurf.
- Knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
- Experience with B2C authentication and JWT flows.
- Familiarity with DataDog and logging frameworks.
