What you will do

• Lead design and implementation of scalable backend services powering personalization systems.
• Drive architectural improvements for reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with Product and Data teams to deliver tailored user content.
• Mentor engineers and set technical excellence standards.
• Evaluate and introduce new technologies, including AI, to enhance backend stack.
• Improve system observability, performance, and resilience for revenue-critical operations.
• Contribute hands-on code and lead technical planning and execution.

Requirements

• 8+ years in full stack/backend development with expertise in React, Kotlin, TypeScript, and SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
• Experience architecting and scaling complex backend systems in high-growth environments.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, SOA, and event-driven architecture.
• Deep understanding of performance and scalability best practices.
• Ability to translate ambiguous requirements into actionable plans.
• Advanced English communication skills
• Experience mentoring engineers.
• Fluency with AI engineering tools

Nice to have

• Experience with DevOps tools, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
• Experience with React Native.
