What you will do

• Drive US communications strategy and execution in alignment with global HQ objectives and outcome expectations.
• Develop and produce multimedia owned content for news releases, media statements, social media, and blogs.
• Manage the US press office, maintaining strong relationships with financial, business, and crypto journalists.
• Craft authentic brand storytelling narratives that connect US operations with local culture and community values.
• Identify and facilitate interactions with local external stakeholders to increase public understanding of the company's value proposition.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant experience in corporate communications, brand storytelling, and media relations.
• Based in Austin, TX, Ontario, CA, or British Columbia, CA.
• Proven track record of providing high-level PR counsel that results in positive outcomes.
• Strong existing network of journalist relationships with key US-based business and financial media.
• Excellent writing and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence multiple stakeholders.
• Experience in the Bitcoin mining and crypto industry is highly regarded.
