What you will do

• Direct the development, implementation, and maintenance of manufacturing methods for new and existing lab products.
• Ensure strict compliance with good manufacturing practices and CLIA/CAP guidelines at all times.
• Monitor production goals, TAT, SLA, and efficiency metrics to drive cost reduction and quality improvement.
• Manage staffing levels, interview processes, and performance reviews for the laboratory team.
• Oversee the seamless transition of automation and test improvements into the production workflow.
• Collaborate with interdepartmental teams including OPS, Engineering, Stats, and R&D.

Requirements

• BS/BA degree in Biological Sciences or a related field.
• Current ASCP board certification in Medical Technology or California State CLS or CGMBS license required.
• Minimum 3+ years of relevant leadership experience managing teams.
• Minimum 5+ years of industry-related experience.
• Knowledge and experience with Lean Six Sigma concepts and tools.
• Must be based in or be able to work onsite in Austin, TX.
