What you will do

• Receive, unpack, inventory, and store biological samples at appropriate temperatures following SOPs.
• Scan samples into BSI system, perform data reconciliation, and resolve discrepancies.
• Aliquot samples aseptically and execute molecular techniques like nucleic acid extraction and quantification.
• Pull, quality check, and ship samples domestically and internationally per IATA regulations.
• Train and assess competency of lab technicians, monitor equipment, and respond to freezer alarms.
• Support special projects including process improvements and automation integration.

Requirements

• Must be able to read, write, speak fluently and comprehend English.
• High School Diploma or equivalent + 3+ years relevant laboratory experience.
• Aseptic sample handling (e.g., aliquoting); basic lab skills.
• Comfortable with Excel and inventory systems like BSI.
• Excellent attention to detail, documentation, and ability to work independently.
• Ability to lift 31-50 lbs; exposure to extreme cold (-20°C to -196°C).

Nice to have

• Molecular biology experience.
• Current IATA Shipping Regulations certification.
