What you will do

• Supervise daily lab staff activities, including staffing, scheduling, and sample run management.
• Coach, motivate, and evaluate staff performance through regular reviews and training.
• Ensure strict adherence to SOPs, safety procedures, and regulatory agency requirements.
• Document nonconformance reports and assist in initiating and completing CAPAs.
• Collaborate with interdepartmental teams such as Engineering, R&D, and Stats to resolve operational issues.
• Manage administrative duties including timecards and PTO requests.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or be able to work onsite in San Carlos, CA
• 2+ years of experience as a Medical Technologist or equivalent in a clinical laboratory environment.
• BS/BA degree in Medical Technology, Biological Sciences, or a related field.
• Current MT/MLS/CLS certification (ASCP, AMT, or AAB) is preferred.
• Proven leadership experience and proficiency in Molecular Biology, GMP, and QSR.
