Location: Hybrid in North Hollywood, CA, USA (minimum 3 days per week in office)

Salary: $100,000 - $115,000 (bonus eligible)

What you will do

• Develop story angles, pitches, and press materials for Fandango and Rotten Tomatoes leveraging trends, insights, and opportunities.
• Drive publicity for digital content including original video, celebrity content, and exclusive programming.
• Build and maintain relationships with entertainment, tech, business reporters, and producers.
• Create executive messaging, briefing materials, and talking points for high-visibility situations.
• Secure media interviews, speaking engagements, panels, and awards for executives.
• Lead communications for industry events like film festivals and exhibitor conventions.

Requirements

• 6+ years in media relations, corporate or strategic communications, preferably in media, entertainment, or technology.
• Established relationships with top-tier entertainment and media reporters for high-impact coverage.
• Exceptional writing skills for press releases, talking points, and briefing materials.
• Experience leading earned media strategies for announcements, partnerships, and milestones.
• Strong understanding of media, entertainment (TV/film), and technology landscapes.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally in fast-paced environments.
