What you will do

• Build and maintain core platform infrastructure serving as the foundation for engineering teams organization-wide.
• Drive solution architecture and delivery using AWS, ECS/Kubernetes, and cloud-native architectures.
• Develop and operate platform capabilities including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automation solutions.
• Design standardized, reusable cloud infrastructure patterns and templates to maintain security and compliance.
• Monitor and optimize cloud spend through cost governance strategies and right-sizing recommendations.
• Maintain SLOs/SLIs/SLAs and implement reliability engineering practices to improve uptime targets.

Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on experience with AWS, specifically focusing on Infrastructure as Code.
• 4+ years of experience managing and maintaining Linux systems.
• 3+ years of experience with Python for automation and scripting.
• 3+ years of experience with Terraform, including module development and state management.
• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (VPCs, load balancers, DNS, CDNs).
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.

Nice to have

• Relevant AWS Certifications (Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect).
• Understanding of container security and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Fundamentals of running AI-related services, including MCP and RAG.
• Experience with multi-account AWS strategies (Organizations, Control Tower, Landing Zones).
• Platform-as-a-product thinking and experience with internal developer portals (e.g., Backstage).
