DevOps / Platform Engineer (Level II) (FSI)

DevOps / Platform Engineer (Level II) (FSI): Building CI/CD pipelines and automating infrastructure for US Navy modernization with enabling microservices on container orchestration platforms through heavy use of automation tools. Location: San Diego, CA (onsite). Must be US Citizen and hold or be able to obtain active US national security clearance.

Salary: 105,000 - 150,000 USD per year (San Diego, CA (FSI))

What you will do

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for teams
• Automate infrastructure for predictable, supportable environments
• Support containerized platforms in secure, regulated settings
• Collaborate with software and cyber engineers to resolve delivery issues
• Adapt to varying program needs, priorities, and tech stacks

Requirements

• US Citizen able to obtain and maintain US national security clearance (PCL)
• CompTIA Security+ or obtain within 45 days of hire
• 3+ years experience with containerization (Docker, Podman, Buildah)
• 3+ years experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Helm)
• 3+ years experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins, AWS CodeBuild)
• 3+ years experience with IaC (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation), Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu), and scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell)

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, engineering, math, physics or related
• Experience with cloud (AWS, Azure)
• Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket)
