What you will do

• Develop conceptual and schematic plans for faculties and administrative groups to support academic missions.
• Manage space initiatives to optimize utilization, encourage shared usage, and increase overall efficiency.
• Translate user requirements into functional programs and strategic space recommendations.
• Apply building codes and construction practices to create test-fit layouts for new projects or relocations.
• Draft project proposals, RFIs, and RFPs to manage the award of external consultancy contracts.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external organizations to implement facility plans.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in interior design, planning, engineering, or architecture.
• Minimum of five years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience interpreting building codes and designing interior spaces.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills for dealing with a diversity of stakeholders.
