What you will do

• Plan, manage, and monitor operating, research, and contract budgets, ensuring alignment with priorities.
• Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, variance analysis, and risk assessment to support decision-making.
• Oversee full lifecycle of research grants and contracts, ensuring compliance with funding policies.
• Liaise with hirify.global financial units, funding agencies, and auditors on grants, policies, and compliance.
• Lead financial systems like Workday, develop analysis tools, and approve transactions.
• Provide training and guidance to faculty, staff on financial matters and supervise finance team.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in relevant discipline and enrolled in CPA PEP modules.
• Minimum three years of related experience or equivalent.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, financial processes, and research grant management.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, exercise judgment, and lead teams.

Nice to have

• CPA designation or Master’s in business administration or financial management.
