Head of Analytics (Fintech)

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the company’s analytics function
Set tasks for the analytics team and ensure timely delivery
Prioritize workload based on business needs
Analyze key metrics: loan issuance, repayments, delinquency, channel performance
Prepare reports for management
Interpret data — not just numbers, but insights and actionable recommendations
Identify growth opportunities and process optimization areas
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Risk, Collections, Product)

Main Goal of the Role

Not just “build reports”, but:

Turn data into business decisions
Help the company increase revenue and reduce losses

Requirements

1+ year of experience in analytics (preferably in fintech / microfinance / banking)
Advanced Excel skills
Strong SQL knowledge (must-have)
Experience working with large datasets
Team management experience or readiness to take on leadership
Strong analytical thinking
Ability to identify patterns and draw conclusions
Proactive mindset — not just execute tasks, but suggest solutions
