What you will do

• Own the national go-to-market strategy for ports and terminals, including segmentation, pursuit selection, and pricing.
• Build and manage a national pipeline with port authorities, terminal operators, and energy majors.
• Partner with private equity partners to source, evaluate, and recommend acquisitions to accelerate regional presence.
• Develop new service lines, including port decarbonization and marine MEP, to meet market needs.
• Lead proposal development and oversee project delivery as a Project Director or Manager.
• Influence hiring and staffing decisions to ensure alignment with national growth goals.

Requirements

• 12–20+ years of experience in the AEC sector with a proven record of BD leadership in ports and terminals.
• Deep professional relationships with port authorities and marine contractors in the Tri-State, Mid-Atlantic, Gulf, and West Coast regions.
• Fluency in integrated services including structural, geotechnical, coastal engineering, and permitting.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• Working knowledge of the port decarbonization market and terminal operations.
• Successful completion of fit-for-work testing, including Drug & Alcohol testing.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
• Advanced degree (MBA/MS) or professional board certifications.
• Experience with alternative delivery models and complex teaming structures.
