What you will do

• Build and lead the Clinical Experience function, including hiring and scaling a team of clinical experts
• Own clinical relationships with health system partners as a trusted advisor to clinicians, CDI teams, and executives
• Drive platform onboarding, adoption, training, and engagement across customer organizations
• Partner with Customer Success, Product, Engineering, and Sales to improve retention, roadmap, and deals
• Establish metrics, feedback loops, and playbooks for clinical impact and customer satisfaction
• Identify process improvements for scalability

Requirements

• MD or DO (or equivalent advanced clinical degree)
• Deep expertise in clinical documentation, ICD-10 coding, CDI, and revenue cycle operations
• 7–10+ years in healthcare with exposure to health systems or provider organizations
• Experience in customer-facing roles like customer success, implementation, or clinical consulting
• Proven track record building and managing high-performing teams
• Strong communication for clinicians and executives; cross-functional collaboration skills
• High ownership in fast-paced startup environment

Nice to have

• Experience at healthcare technology or SaaS company
• Certifications: CCDS, CDIP, RHIA, RHIT, or CCS
• Prior CDI or revenue integrity experience
• Familiarity with EHR systems (Epic, Cerner) and clinical workflows
• Enterprise sales or complex deal support
