TL;DR
Assembly Team Lead: Leading daily assembly operations while building mechanical and electrical components according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards with an accent on hands-on assembly, inspection, testing, and team coordination. Focus on crimping, soldering, cable and wire harness assemblies, defect identification, workflow management, and mentoring team members in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Location: Onsite in LA Office (Los Angeles, United States). Must be eligible to work in the United States (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible for U.S. Government authorizations). Certain roles subject to security and export control restrictions and BPSS pre-employment screening.

What you will do
- Assemble mechanical and electrical components following work instructions and engineering drawings
- Build cable and wire harness assemblies using crimping, soldering, heat shrinking, and routing
- Perform inspections, testing, and defect identification to meet quality standards
- Maintain clean work area, complete documentation, and track work orders
- Lead daily activities, coordinate workflow, monitor productivity and quality metrics
- Train, mentor team members, and serve as first point of contact for technical questions
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or assembly
- Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and work instructions
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and basic measurement equipment (calipers, micrometers, multimeters preferred)
- Strong attention to detail, process adherence, task prioritization, and workflow management
- Basic computer skills for documentation and tracking
- U.S. work eligibility verification required upon hire
Nice to have
- Experience in aerospace, electronics, or precision manufacturing
- IPC/WHMA-A-620 or J-STD-001 certification
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
- Prior experience training or mentoring team members
