Senior Fullstack Engineer (Telehealth)

TL;DR

Senior Fullstack Engineer (Vue.js/Node.js/AWS): Building and evolving the Iris Health telehealth platform, focusing on virtual consultations and clinical workflows with an accent on serverless architecture and scalable data modelling. Focus on designing responsive frontend experiences, developing serverless backend services, and managing cloud infrastructure via AWS CDK.

Location: Remote (LATAM). Must have reasonable timezone overlap with Eastern Time.

What you will do

• Build responsive and accessible frontend experiences using Vue.js and TypeScript for real-time telehealth scenarios.
• Design and develop serverless backend services using Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS Lambda.
• Take end-to-end ownership of features from architecture and implementation through to deployment and monitoring.
• Provision cloud infrastructure using AWS CDK, working with SQS, SNS, and DynamoDB.
• Implement efficient data access patterns using single-table DynamoDB design.
• Champion engineering quality through automated testing, code reviews, and CI/CD best practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional full-stack development experience in a product-oriented environment.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript across both frontend and backend.
• Solid experience building modern frontend applications with Vue.js (Vue 3 / Composition API preferred).
• Hands-on experience with Node.js and serverless architecture on AWS.
• Practical knowledge of NoSQL databases and DynamoDB data modelling.
• Must be based in LATAM with reasonable timezone overlap for Eastern Time meetings.
