Big Data Analyst

Location: Hybrid role in Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel

What you will do

• Build custom reports end to end, from understanding client needs to writing code and setting up ongoing delivery.
• Analyze billions of user-based events using quantitative analysis and data-mining techniques.
• Conduct research and develop tools using raw datasets and algorithms to answer client business questions.
• Partner with Engineering to establish infrastructure that supports scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with Advisory Services consultants to deliver strategic insights and custom data products.

Requirements

• At least four years of experience with SQL or PySpark for data analysis.
• Professional Python scripting experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong analytical, research, business, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage complex projects independently from start to finish and demonstrate initiative.
• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to have

• AWS infrastructure experience.
• Client-facing experience.
• Knowledge of online marketing or online services.
• At least two years of experience in an online or technology company.
• Master’s degree.
