What you will do

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to design, build, and test satellite hardware and software.
• Set up and operate environmental test equipment, including Ambient thermal chambers, TVAC, and vibration shaker tables.
• Execute test plans using various instruments such as DAQs and oscilloscopes.
• Conduct vibration, acoustics, thermal, thermal vacuum, and RF testing.

Requirements

• Four-year degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent technical degree.
• U.S. Citizenship, Lawful Permanent Residency, or Refugee/Asylee Status required.
• Must be onsite 5 days a week in San Francisco.
• Passion for hands-on hardware development in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with spacecraft systems and operations.

Nice to have

• Experience writing Python code to interface with test equipment, process large datasets, and visualize data.
• Experience in CAD.
• Direct electrical or mechanical design experience.
• Ability to debug hardware and software problems under time pressure.
