TL;DR

Location: Remote with occasional travel to Estonia (1–2 weeks every few months)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain core gameplay systems using Unreal Engine 5 and C++.
• Implement game features and mechanics based on design requirements.
• Optimize performance for various platforms, specifically PC and consoles.
• Contribute to technical design and architecture decisions for the project.
• Debug and resolve complex technical issues across the codebase.
• Integrate third-party tools, plugins, and middleware.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in C++.
• Hands-on experience with Unreal Engine (UE4 or UE5).
• Proven experience working in remote or distributed development teams.
• Solid understanding of game systems and real-time performance constraints.
• Experience with gameplay programming, AI, physics, or networking.
• Proficiency with version control systems such as Git or Perforce.

Nice to have

• Experience shipping at least one professional game title.
• Knowledge of multiplayer and networked systems.
• Familiarity with UE5-specific tools like Blueprints, Niagara, Nanite, and Lumen.
• Experience in AAA or indie game development.
