What you will do

• Develop and support tools for next-generation physical verification.
• Perform algorithm development, software debugging, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with a global team of EDA professionals to deliver best-in-class software for physical IC applications.
• Write specifications and develop code that satisfies requirements of external customers.
• Guide the accuracy, performance, and functionality enhancements within the physical verification suite.

Requirements

• MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in software development using C/C++, with a focus on complex algorithms and performance.
• 1+ years of experience using Linux.
• Strong aptitude for out-of-the-box thinking and problem solving.
• Must be based in or able to work from San Jose, CA.

Nice to have

• Algorithmic knowledge relating to graphs.
• Experience in deck development for physical verification.
• Experience in physical signoff methodologies within the physical implementation environment.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Experience with schematic and layout design.
