Salary: $128,800 - $193,200

What you will do
- Lead process development technical work for New Product Development (NPD) programs using injection molding expertise.
- Develop and sustain manufacturing processes for cardiovascular and neurological product portfolios, including welding and automated inspection.
- Plan and execute engineering studies to define and optimize process inputs for required performance.
- Lead the innovation of manufacturing concepts, including material selection, tooling design, and performance qualification.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in product design, operations, and quality.
- Coach and mentor engineers on injection molding best practices and production troubleshooting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, Injection Molding, or Plastics Engineering.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience (or Master's + 5 years, or PhD + 3 years).
- Must be able to work onsite in Brooklyn Center, MN at least 4 days per week.
- U.S. work authorization sponsorship (H-1B, TN, J, etc.) is offered for this Principal-level role.
Nice to have
- Expertise in injection molding for small-size, high-precision medical devices.
- Working knowledge and experience with FEA and CAD.
- Strong knowledge of Design of Experiments (DOE) and familiarity with Minitab or JMP.
- Experience with problem-solving methodologies such as DFSS, DRM, or DMAIC.
