Salary: $65,000 - $110,000

What you will do

• Assist in the creation and structuring of new-issue Agency CMOs based on client demand and MBS collateral sourcing.
• Serve as a market maker for Agency CMOs, providing liquidity and executing buy/sell transactions in the secondary market.
• Collaborate with institutional and retail sales teams to provide market color, liquidity insights, and structured product solutions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external counterparties and dealer trading desks to expand the distribution network.
• Monitor Agency MBS and fixed-income markets to identify relative value opportunities and generate trade ideas.
• Prepare daily P&L reports, reconcile trade positions, and manage hedging strategies within established risk parameters.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field of study.
• 1+ years of experience trading or structuring mortgage-backed securities (MBS) in a buy-side or sell-side environment.
• Ability to obtain SIE, FINRA Series 7, and Series 63 licenses within 3–6 months after hire.
• Experience preparing daily P&L, risk metrics, and reconciliations in a fixed-income trading environment.
