What you will do

• Design and orchestrate complex integrations using Data Factory, REST APIs, and other enterprise data services.
• Lead scalable ELT strategies leveraging Spark Notebooks, Data Factory, and Synapse Pipelines.
• Architect multi-domain Lakehouse environments, defining structure, metadata, and governance standards.
• Design enterprise-grade data models and refresh strategies for scalable Power BI reporting.
• Establish naming conventions, workspace governance, and CI/CD deployment strategies across Fabric.
• Mentor junior engineers, perform code reviews, and align technical strategy with business needs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with the Microsoft data ecosystem (Fabric, Data Factory, Spark, Synapse, Power BI).
• Proven expertise in designing scalable ELT strategies and orchestrating complex data integrations.
• Advanced knowledge of data warehousing optimization and performance tuning.
• Expert-level DAX proficiency for complex Power BI semantic models.
• Hands-on experience using AI coding agents and AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot.
• Must be based in Toronto or Oakville, ON, Canada.
