TL;DR

Location: Fully remote within the continental United States

Salary: $125,000 - $150,000 Annually

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using React, Redux, and JavaScript/TypeScript on Ruby on Rails / Drupal stacks.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX Designers and stakeholders to define and deliver exceptional user web experiences.
  • Leverage a strong software engineering foundation to inform delivery decisions and technical approach.
  • Utilize monitoring tools such as Grafana and Datadog.
  • Work effectively within an Agile / Scrum delivery framework.
  • Produce role-appropriate technical documentation.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional experience (or commensurate experience).
  • Expertise in React, Redux, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Experience working with Ruby on Rails and/or Drupal.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust clearance.
  • Must be based in the continental United States.

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting delivery and maintenance of VA.gov applications.
  • Experience digitizing Government forms.
  • Ability to evaluate and update user process flows to enhance engagement outcomes.
