What you will do
- Lead design and execution of QA strategies for legacy system migrations, ensuring zero data loss and feature parity.
- Architect and implement end-to-end automation frameworks to accelerate testing and reduce manual regression.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, and stakeholders to identify risks in legacy dependencies and modern integrations.
- Optimize testing processes, emphasizing the testing pyramid for stable transitions to microservices.
Requirements
- Advanced English proficiency (fluent verbal and written)
- Proven experience leading QA for complex system migrations, including data migration and cutovers.
- Extensive test automation with tools like Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress, building frameworks from scratch.
- Strong skills in REST API validation and database testing for data consistency.
- Strategic thinking with root cause analysis and risk assessments for legacy software.
- Expert with JIRA and project management tools for tracking progress and defects.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or GCP for cloud migrations.
- Performance testing with JMeter or Locust.
- Advanced SQL for complex queries and analysis.
- Agile/Scrum leadership in digital transformations.
- CI/CD integration knowledge.
