What you will do

• Define and drive the QA automation strategy to improve framework quality, test coverage, and overall maturity.
• Lead, mentor, and support a team of 4 QA engineers, providing both technical guidance and hands-on contribution.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable UI and end-to-end automation frameworks across mobile and backend services.
• Optimize automated test execution within CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast and reliable feedback.
• Drive a risk-based testing approach, balancing UI, API/service-level, and manual testing layers.
• Manage bug tracking, triage, and failure analysis, providing clear reporting on quality metrics.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in QA / Test Automation delivering solutions in production environments.
• Proven experience in a QA leadership or mentoring role, shaping QA direction.
• Strong expertise in modern UI automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or WebdriverIO.
• Experience with mobile testing and automation for iOS and Android.
• Proficiency in automation languages, with a strong preference for TypeScript.
• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and understanding test pyramid principles.

Nice to have

• Experience with mobile-specific tools like Appium, BrowserStack, XCUITest, or Espresso.
• Experience in regulated or high-reliability sectors such as fintech or banking.
• Exposure to non-functional testing including performance, load, or security practices.
• Broader experience in backend or service-level testing strategies.
