What you will do

• Build and manage a global team of engineers to analyze and maintain service stability in a 24/7/365 operation.
• Own the day-to-day health, uptime, and reliability of networks, servers, storage, and ancillary infrastructure.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to negotiate requirements, specifications, schedules, and technical acceptance criteria.
• Partner with Project Management and Engineering to develop scalable and reliable technical solutions for the Gaming, Developer, & Future Technology Group.
• Identify tactical issues and emerging areas of concern to inform technical design and solutions.
• Provide technical guidance to influence software engineering processes and operational outcomes.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience managing an operations organization in a 24/7 global infrastructure with a record of technical achievements.
• Deep understanding of Linux and Internet technologies, with a strong background in Internet service deployments.
• Experience in network and large-scale Linux system troubleshooting and maintenance practices.
• Ability to perform technical deep dives into code, networking, and storage with experienced engineers.
• Must be willing to travel to domestic and international datacenters and office locations.
