Junior Biometric Examiner (Biometrics)

What you will do

• Perform 1:1 and multi-modal biometric comparisons, including facial, iris, and latent print analysis.
• Resolve complex cases where automated systems cannot determine definitive matches.
• Search large-scale biometric databases, analyze candidate results, and document findings.
• Pre-process and enhance biometric files and images using tools like Adobe Photoshop.
• Conduct identity resolution and deconfliction of conflicting biometric records.
• Support technical troubleshooting for examiner tools and participate in SOP developments.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain government clearance (Public Trust).
• Bachelor’s degree (Forensic Science with biometric coursework highly preferred).
• Minimum of 3 months of hands-on experience in facial, iris, or latent print examination.
• Experience with case management systems and biometric systems such as IDENT or ABIS.
• Ability to work autonomously with a high degree of accuracy to meet QA requirements.

Nice to have

• Advanced coursework in multi-modal biometric analysis and comparison.
