Location: Onsite in Wallingford, UK with willingness and ability to travel internationally to customer sites across global deployment footprint.

What you will do

• Perform cross-functional triage and investigation of escalated issues using telemetry data, robot logs, AWS infrastructure, and point cloud data.
• Monitor fleet and site health via Grafana dashboards, build alerting, and proactively identify issues.
• Support new customer deployments end-to-end, handling WMS/ERP integrations, network setup, and robot configuration.
• Manage intelligent escalation to engineering teams with structured summaries of investigations.
• Communicate as technical advisor to customers, run workshops, and produce documentation.
• Provide product feedback from failure patterns and automate repetitive tasks with scripts.

Requirements

• 4–5+ years of professional solutions engineering or technical operations experience diagnosing complex multi-system problems
• Strong SQL and data querying skills for time-series telemetry and large datasets
• Hands-on with observability tooling like Grafana for dashboards and issue diagnosis
• Comfortable in Linux environments: SSH, bash scripting, log analysis, networking
• Experience with AWS (or equivalent), Docker, Kubernetes, and data pipelines
• Proficiency in Python (or similar) for automation and analysis
• Experience with AI-assisted development tooling (Anthropic, Google Gemini, OpenAI)
• Strong cross-functional communication and high agency in ambiguous situations

Nice to have

• Familiarity with robotics (ROS2), point cloud/LiDAR data
• Robotics visualisation tooling
• WMS/ERP integration (SAP, Manhattan, Oracle)
• Real-time protocols (Zenoh, MQTT, gRPC)
• Consulting or structured delivery experience
