Infrastructure Engineer (DevOps)

TL;DR

What you will do

• Support CI/CD pipeline operations, including build automation, deployment processes, and automated testing.
• Manage infrastructure as code using Ansible, Terraform, and Packer.
• Administer Windows and Linux servers and manage virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere/ESXi or Microsoft Hyper-V.
• Automate operational infrastructure tasks using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Collaborate with security teams to develop documentation and complete security checklists (STIGs).
• Perform capacity planning, resource optimization, and support physical rack-mounted equipment.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is required due to government contract requirements.
• Must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.
• B.S. degree in Engineering or Information Technology related field.
• Proficiency with Git and scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, or Bash).
• Hands-on experience with VMware or Hyper-V and server administration.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and storage technologies (SAN, NAS).

Nice to have

• Familiarity with C# or Java for building infrastructure-interacting applications.
• Experience with container technologies like Docker.
• Knowledge of managing APIs (REST, GraphQL).
• Experience with simulation product lifecycles.
