What you will do

• Receive, triage, and resolve assay, hardware, and software complaints from customers and partners.
• Lead technical investigations by performing laboratory experiments and product testing.
• Document all customer interactions and communications within the call center database.
• Contribute to the Knowledge Management database by creating and editing technical articles.
• Coordinate with Business Managers, Field Service, QA, RA, and Operations for customer management.
• Train new employees on departmental processes and product procedures during onboarding.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, or a similar discipline.
• 0-2 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and work.
• Practical experience in a clinical or research laboratory and knowledge of lab processes.
• Must work onsite at Luminex office.
• Ability to work non-standard hours and participate in 7x24x365 on-call rotations.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in a GMP environment.
• Knowledge of ISO, FDA, and/or USDA guidelines.
• Experience with Salesforce.com CRM.
• Familiarity with CLIA, CAP, and JCAHO requirements.
