Requirement Manager (f/m/d) (Automotive)

What you will do

• Define, deploy, and optimize requirements and test management strategy for automotive R&D programs
• Govern project-specific requirements plans with full traceability across system, hardware, software, safety, and verification
• Architect requirements and test infrastructures using tools like IBM DOORS, ELM, RQM for global scalability and audit readiness
• Coach system architects, project managers, and teams on requirements quality, change analysis, and test coverage
• Define and report KPIs on requirements maturity, verification progress, risks, and compliance
• Lead audits, assessments, customer reviews, and collaborate on corporate standards and improvements

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Extensive hands-on experience in requirements engineering for complex embedded or automotive systems
• Proven expertise with enterprise tools like IBM DOORS / DOORS NG, ELM, RQM
• Strong background in quality assurance, verification strategies, and lifecycle compliance including CMMI, ISO 26262, ASPICE
• Advanced English communication skills for engineering, management, and executive levels
• Experience in international, multi-site, cross-functional environments

Nice to have

• IREB (Advanced / Expert) and/or ISTQB certification
• Track record of influencing organizations and driving process excellence at scale
