What you will do

• Own the full data path from source to destination, including ingestion pipelines and normalization engines.
• Scale event delivery by 10x to meet exponential growth in consumption from AI labs.
• Architect and ship the upstream supplier connector for direct data pushing.
• Redesign normalization processes to support schema evolution without breaking downstream consumers.
• Implement multi-destination fan-out with independent retry logic for webhooks, SQL, S3, and queues.
• Develop real-time provider health dashboards to monitor latency, error rates, and schema drift.

Requirements

• Experience operating platforms processing billions of events.
• Strong systems thinking with a focus on data flow and failure modes.
• Observability-first mindset, integrating monitoring and tracing into core designs.
• Expertise in event delivery guarantees, schema evolution, and idempotency.
• Ability to rapidly move from architectural design to production deployment.
• Must be based in or be able to work from the London office.
