What you will do

• Build and manage a network of data stewards across business domains, ensuring clarity on ownership and responsibilities.
• Guide the creation, refinement, and approval of data definitions, KPIs, and data quality rules.
• Translate governance frameworks and policies into actionable guidance for stewards and project teams.
• Oversee the data glossary, metadata fields, and naming conventions in governance tools.
• Partner with the data platform team to maintain accurate catalog entries and lineage views.
• Promote data literacy by educating stakeholders on governance processes and best practices.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in data governance, data quality, and metadata management.
• Experience leading cross-functional discussions regarding data standards and ownership.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and French.
• Proven ability to influence and coordinate between technical and business teams.
• Strong communication skills to translate complex governance concepts for diverse audiences.

Nice to have

• 3+ years of experience applying data science techniques to solve business problems.
• Proficiency in data wrangling tools such as SQL and Python.
• Strong understanding of statistical concepts, hypothesis testing, and experimental design.
