What you will do

• Build and own the financial model, including annual plans, quarterly forecasts, and weekly cash and inventory management.
• Analyze DTC unit economics, focusing on contribution margin, LTV/CAC, and payback periods by channel and cohort.
• Manage global tax compliance and transfer pricing across US and China entities.
• Oversee the cash conversion cycle and working capital strategy for inventory-heavy operations.
• Lead the ERP roadmap (likely NetSuite implementation) and integrate it with Shopify and 3PL systems.
• Build and lead the finance team, including controllers, FP&A, and tax specialists.

Requirements

• 3+ years of finance experience, with 1+ years leading a finance function (Head, VP, or Director of Finance).
• Direct experience in a high-growth DTC brand ($20M–$100M revenue) or logistics (3PL, warehousing).
• Fluency in DTC unit economics and GAAP-compliant financial reporting.
• Working knowledge of global tax compliance in the US (multi-state) and at least one international jurisdiction.
• Experience with US-China cross-border operations, including transfer pricing, FX, and customs.
• BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; CPA, CFA, or MBA strongly preferred.

Nice to have

• Direct experience operating with a Chinese WFOE or equivalent entity.
• Mandarin language ability (reading/speaking fluency).
• Experience with multi-channel DTC (Amazon, retail, wholesale).
• Prior ERP implementation or migration experience.
