A venture-backed Health-Tech company disrupting the Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) sector by building a next-generation drug acquisition platform.
What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain backend architecture using Golang, Node.js, GraphQL, and SQL.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to produce high-quality, scalable software and services based on functional requirements.
- Create comprehensive technical design documentation and provide accurate scope and risk estimates.
- Utilize AWS technologies, specifically Lambda and Fargate, for batch processing and job handling.
- Perform production triage, root cause analysis, and execute short-term and long-term mitigation plans.
- Mentor junior team members and collaborate with senior leadership to define the quarterly technical roadmap.
Requirements
- 12-15 years of software development experience focusing on server-side applications, API servers, and data processing.
- Expertise in a compiled language such as Go, Java, or Kotlin.
- Proficiency with PostgreSQL, including schema design, SQL tuning, and database monitoring.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing scalable APIs and applying software design patterns.
- Must be based in the United States.
- BS or advanced degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
Nice to have
- Experience working in a high-growth startup environment.
- Working knowledge of GraphQL APIs, CI/CD pipelines, AWS platform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
