Focus on turning R&D prototypes into stable production tools, integrating Houdini Engine, and implementing practical AI/LLM workflows to accelerate asset creation.

What you will do

  • Design and build procedural content systems in Unity for assets, variations, environments, textures, and animations.
  • Develop Unity editor tools and automation to reduce repetitive setup, validation, and integration work.
  • Integrate Houdini Engine and HDAs into the pipeline to support parametric content workflows.
  • Implement practical AI-assisted tools and local LLM workflows for naming, tagging, and controlled content variation.
  • Partner with a Senior Technical Artist to translate R&D findings into stable, production-ready tools.
  • Ensure the maintainability, documentation, and stability of the entire tools layer.

Requirements

  • Senior-level Unity engineering experience with deep expertise in C# and Unity editor scripting.
  • Proven experience with procedural content generation (Houdini, custom generators, parametric meshes, or level generation).
  • Deep understanding of Unity asset workflows, prefabs, ScriptableObjects, serialization, and build processes.
  • Proficiency in Python, shell scripting, and version control.
  • Ability to translate artist production pain points into practical technical tools.
  • English: Clear written proficiency required.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Houdini Engine / HDA integration in a production environment.
  • Knowledge of generative texture workflows (Substance Designer API, Shader Graph automation).
  • Background in graphics programming, rendering, or game engine internals.
  • Experience with local LLM tooling such as Ollama, llama.cpp, or vLLM.
  • CI/CD experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Unity Cloud Build.
