TL;DR

Location: Hybrid - 3 days a week in the London office

What you will do
- Design and scale end-to-end operational processes to reduce manual toil and implement automated solutions.
- Monitor and analyze product performance data (approval rates, SLAs) to identify issues and inform optimization.
- Own incident response for assigned product areas, from initial triage to post-incident review.
- Manage relationships with external scheme partners (e.g., Visa, Mastercard) and vendors to resolve issues.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements and relevant card scheme rules.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Compliance, and Customer Operations to investigate and fix escalated issues.
Requirements
- Proven ability to build and scale robust, complex operational systems.
- Experience in the debit or credit card industry with knowledge of card payments and schemes.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to make decisions and manage multi-stakeholder projects.
- Proactive, self-starting mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
- Excellent stakeholder and vendor management skills.
- Must be based in London for a hybrid work arrangement (3 days office/week).
Nice to have
- Proficiency with SQL and Looker.
- Previous experience with relevant payment schemes.
