What you will do

• Implement and improve the security posture of the Azure platform, identifying and remediating vulnerabilities.
• Configure security controls, policies, and access to ensure protection of data, applications, containers, and networks.
• Design and manage access within cloud environments using defense-in-depth principles.
• Manage network security in both cloud and hybrid contexts with traditional network-centric controls.
• Utilize cloud-native security tools such as Log Analytics, Azure Monitor, Azure Security Center, and Azure Sentinel.

Requirements

• Experience in Network Security, Cyber Defense, Vulnerability Management, and Security Architecture.
• Strong understanding of Zero Trust Network, CASB, SIEM solutions, PKI, DevSecOps, IAM, and PAM.
• Technical proficiency with Linux and Windows operating systems and scripting languages (Powershell, Python, .Net).
• Solid knowledge of HTTP, HTTPS, SSL, and authentication technologies.
• Legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis without visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with other cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud.
• Certifications: Azure Security Engineer, CompTIA Security+, SANS, CISSP, CSSP, CCSK, GIAC, or CEH.
• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and DevSecOps methodologies.
