Backend Java Engineer (Fullstack)

TL;DR

Backend Java Engineer (Java/Angular): Designing, developing, and supporting enterprise applications with an accent on microservices architecture, Oracle databases, and Angular UI. Focus on building scalable Spring Boot services, integrating REST APIs, and utilizing AI-assisted development tools to improve code quality.

Location: Hybrid (3 days in office in Charlotte, NC). The second interview must be held on-site (Hard Requirement).

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain Java Spring Boot microservices.
• Develop and enhance Angular-based UI components and integrate REST APIs.
• Work with Oracle databases for data persistence, focusing on SQL and PL/SQL.
• Deploy and support applications on OpenShift using containerized deployments.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot for code generation and refactoring.
• Collaborate with global UI, QA, and DevOps teams within an Agile Scrum framework.

Requirements

• Must be eligible for W2 employment only (No C2C).
• 6+ years of overall IT experience, with 4+ years specifically in Java and Spring Boot.
• 2+ years of hands-on Angular full stack development.
• Strong expertise in Oracle Database, including performance tuning and schema design.
• Working knowledge of OpenShift and CI/CD pipelines.
• Must be able to attend an on-site interview in Charlotte, NC.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Knowledge of Spring Security, OAuth2, and JWT.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Splunk, ELK, or Prometheus.
• Experience with OpenText Documentum or CIB/CB domains.
