Quantitative Developer (Asset Management)

TL;DR

Quantitative Developer (Python): Design and development of scalable Python-based services to enhance multi-asset investment capabilities and fund range with an accent on portfolio construction and risk analysis. Location: Hybrid: Must be based in or able to commute to the central London office at least 2–3 days per week

What you will do

• Design and maintain robust Python-based analytics for portfolio construction, risk analysis, and performance measurement.
• Build scalable, well-tested, and documented production code.
• Integrate diverse data sources, including market data, portfolio holdings, benchmarks, and risk metrics.
• Automate analytical and reporting workflows to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Collaborate with Portfolio Managers and risk teams to align technical outputs with investment intent.
• Document models, methodologies, and assumptions clearly for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for building production-grade analytical systems.
• Proven experience with modern software engineering practices, including version control, testing, and code reviews.
• Deep expertise in data structures and data processing workflows.
• Solid understanding of investment management and how analytical outputs drive decision-making.
• Ability to work in person in the London office at least 2-3 days per week.
