Salary: €41,600 – €62,400

What you will do

• Contribute to the development of innovative medical devices for interventional vascular procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and implement new product design objectives.
• Support the implementation of product, process, and material changes within manufacturing operations.
• Design, analyze, and troubleshoot research and product development activities.
• Conduct studies to investigate life science questions and translate research into usable products.
• Document all design, development, and testing activities in engineering laboratory notebooks.

Requirements

• Level 8 Degree in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of biomedical materials and medical device design methods.
• Proficiency with CAD, Minitab, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or 3D printing.
• Must be based in or have the right to work in Galway, Ireland.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work proactively in cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Project or co-op experience in medical device technology.
• Specific experience with interventional vascular devices.
