Function Test Engineer (Automotive)

TL;DR

Function Test Engineer (Automotive): Supporting test engineers with script and test development for automated acceptance and system testing of Safety Restraint System (SRS) with an accent on verification in automotive environment. Focus on SW acceptance testing for vehicle delivery, ad hoc tasks based on deliveries, and maintaining team output during short-term parental leave coverage.

Location: Gothenburg, Sweden (Hybrid Working). Applicants MUST already be onsite in Sweden and have proof of immediate, on-going and valid eligibility to work full time in Sweden.

What you will do

• Join the team for 3 months during parental leave, supporting through summer holiday period.
• Develop scripts and tests for automated acceptance and system testing of Safety Restraint System (SRS).
• Support SW acceptance testing for vehicle delivery.
• Handle ad hoc tasks based on deliveries and needs to maintain normal team output.

Requirements

• M.Sc. in Electrical or Computer Engineering or similar.
• 5+ years experience in verification of automotive environment.
• Good knowledge of Vector tools and communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay).
• Experience with automotive DVMs (Design Verification Methods).
• Script development and programming skills.
• Ability to drive, motivate, and convince; service-minded team player.
• Already onsite in Sweden with proof of immediate, ongoing, valid full-time work eligibility in Sweden.

Nice to have

• ISTQB certified.
• Simulink requirements management & test.
