What you will do

• Define and lead strategic vision for Finance & Investment Practice, translating value proposition into market offer.
• Own and grow pipeline of new business, lead bid strategies for major tenders, and build senior client relationships with UK government, DFIs, and MDBs.
• Provide oversight of portfolio for technical excellence, impact, delivery, and client satisfaction; serve as programme director for selected programmes.
• Build and lead high-performing multidisciplinary team, fostering ownership, collaboration, and wellbeing.
• Represent at external forums, drive thought leadership, and contribute to organisational transformation.

Requirements

• Senior leadership experience in finance, investment, or financial systems reform, ideally in international development or public sector advisory.
• Demonstrated track record in financial sector reform, development finance, blended finance, capital mobilisation, or relevant area.
• Proven success in winning work and overseeing large, complex delivery portfolios with multiple stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker with strong commercial judgement, credible at senior levels, and strong communication of complex finance concepts.
• Comfortable building new practice areas and strong people leadership.

Nice to have

• Experience at climate-finance-nature nexus.
• Existing relationships with DFIs, MDBs, climate and nature finance initiatives.
• Experience linking impact, ESG, and financial performance frameworks.
